Hi, everyone!
I'll still be keeping my previous journal entry updated with our most recent total ( kthxplz.deviantart.com/journal… ), but after all the exposure and help we've received, I felt like it was time to put together a little compilation of features as a quick way of at least giving some of the exposure back. Plus there's some kickbutt art out there that you need to see!

ono-mono just came back to DA with a new account after a long period of inactivity. She's a sweetheart and her art is gut-wrenchingly inspiring, so you'd do well to help jump-start her watchers with a watch. And be sure to check out the art book featuring this beautiful piece! shuuden.net/avotresante/
tifiz is a new deviant with a lovely talent for plush-work. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more from her!
larkinheather's new comic The Seated Lady is shaping up to be an awesome project and is well worth a moment of your time to read the five pages she has under her belt so far. Give this a peek while you're at it! -> hlarkin.deviantart.com/journal…

gunstarfire is a cool guy who draws cool stuff. Here's a couple of tricked-out owls he drew for me!
kittyninjafish has made a great Flash tutorial that could have you well on your way to making something like this - fav.me/d408svc . Check it out if you're into that sort of thing!
bananamantis has great pixel work that I've admired for a long time. She's also selling commissions, so check that out!
Mad-But-Happy's t-shirt design is doing well for itself in the current competition. Give the I'd wear this button a quick click if you like it!
It feels like there's so much more art out there that I wanna feature, so I'm just gonna grab a sampling of favourites and throw it up here:

Alive! Plus, ACEOs.
Since the artist comments on my most recent upload wound up being somewhat of a journal entry, I'm re-appropriating that into one here:
Hey, everyone! Whew, I kind of fell off the face of DA there for a few months. After all the efforts to recoup the medical bills (which have been paid off now, thanks in large to many of you wonderful followers!), things descended into a whirlwind of job contracts plus a string of household illnesses that have had me super busy. Still not enough work to gear up and move into our own place, but here's hoping things keep getting slowly better while we wait things out for my citizenship status.
All in all,

My interest in using the tumblrs is growing slowly. At this rate, I'll be using it regularly by the exact moment it goes the way of myspace and is suddenly super uncool.
I'M TOO YOUNG TO LOSE MY RELEVANCE, GARSH-DANGIT.
So anyway, I've been keeping rather busy lately and haven't been as active here as I'd like, but I tumbled this up today and thought I'd share in case any of my watchers wanna hook me up with their tumblrz so I can follow some peeps I know. http://chuuch.tumblr.com/post/13436985897/replace-any-character-in-any-series-with-the-hulk
Commissions + Progress [Updated Total!]
Everyone has been so helpful and amazing with spreading the word about my wife and I. http://petulantreflection.deviantart.com/journal/Crisis-and-Comissions-264012339 | http://kthxplz.deviantart.com/journal/Sick-of-sick-Commissions-264010577#comments I felt I owed it to everyone to post an update to share how far we've come thanks to everyone's commissions and donations!
We're currently sitting at roughly $155 out of 500 $265 out of 500, with one or two commissions still up in the air. With how abysmal that hospital bill left me feeling, everyone's generosity and kindness has absolutely floored me with good feelings! Thank you so much to e
Sick of sick + Commissions?
This month quickly went from "Hey yeah, owls!" to "Ok seriously why am I so sick".
I was contending fine with the congestion I'd had for a few weeks when a high fever coupled with dizzying eye/head pain hit me overnight. By the third day of it, I blacked out in the hallway and pulled a big antique mirror down on top of myself. The mirror didn't shatter, but I'm not challenging it to a rematch any time soon.
At that point, I finally gave in to my wife's demands that I go to the hospital. They kept me there for the better part of the day, put a bunch of fluids and antibiotics into me, and sent me home with a prescription.
