Since the artist comments on my most recent upload wound up being somewhat of a journal entry, I'm re-appropriating that into one here:
Hey, everyone! Whew, I kind of fell off the face of DA there for a few months. After all the efforts to recoup the medical bills (which have been paid off now, thanks in large to many of you wonderful followers!), things descended into a whirlwind of job contracts plus a string of household illnesses that have had me super busy. Still not enough work to gear up and move into our own place, but here's hoping things keep getting slowly better while we wait things out for my citizenship status.
All in all, having some break time away from the internet was relaxing (when not working), since checking messages in a dozen different places all day gets mentally exhausting. I have missed many of my friends here, though! =
PetulantReflection and I will be tackling any outstanding commissions as soon as we can, but feel free to nudge us in a note if there's anything we seem to have particularly forgotten about.
The past week has finally afforded some break time from work (though I've got more contracts lined up as of today), so I used the time to practice my traditional art by creating the batch of ACEOs you can see here -->

PetulantReflection was also a lovely enough wife to let me use her copic set for them, which was decidedly fun.
Because copics are pricey beasts and I really want to expand the palette of her set for her (and for future hijackings on my part >_>), I've put each of the ACEOs up on our newly created Etsy store, where you can also read special descriptions for each scene. Please check it out if you would like to call one of these cards your own! Each one will be shipped in a super hard and durable card sleeve that ensures it arrives in pristine condition.

will very likely be creating some of her own to add to the listings soon, so keep an eye out!

[link]I'm also considering having some prints made of my favourite Owltober pieces, matting them nicely in a frame, and listing those on Etsy as well. Anyone think they'd be interested? I'll toss a poll up for the heck of it.
